The Rifle Bears varsity wrestling team tied Grand Junction Central for fourth place at the Eagle Valley Wrestling Invitational on Jan. 10. Basketball Teams Win Heading into Break

Both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams picked up league victories over Summit County at home on Saturday.  The Lady Bears defeated the Tigers 33-21 and the boys followed that up with a 49-37 victory. Rifle High School’s varsity football and cheer squads have both won the Les Schwab Academic Team Championship awards for this fall.  The football team’s 3.72 cumulative team GPA was the best among 3A football school’s in the state.  The cheer squad’s 3.51 cumulative GPA was best among 4A cheer squads in the state. Baseball/Softball Winter Workouts
