5 RHS Baseball Players Receive All-Conference Honors

Five Rifle High School baseball players were selected to receive all-conference honors by the league’s baseball coaches. First team honors went to junior Derek Wagler and seniors Randy Starks and Eddie Medina.  Senior Wyatt Warfel and junior Levi Warfel each received honorable mention honors. The five players helped the Bears improve from a 6-13 record

Baseball to Face Air Academy in Playoffs

The Rifle baseball team has qualified for the regional playoffs and will travel to Colorado Springs to face Air Academy at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The Bears are seeded 29th and will face the fifth-seeded Kadets in the early game.  That game will be followed by one between 11th-seeded Cheyenne Mountain and 21st-seeded Pueblo County

Baseball Wins Academic State Title for Third Straight Year

The Rifle High School varsity baseball team has won its third consecutive Les Schwaab 4A Academic State Championship for this past spring season with an overall team GPA of 3.69, highest among all 4A baseball schools in the state. Baseball Qualifies for Playoffs

Rifle’s baseball team defeated Battle Mountain, 3-2, on Tuesday to finish its regular season with a 14-5 record, good enough to qualify for the state-wide district playoffs.
